WADI BRAND REDESIGN

Along with a Data Analysis Intern, I supported the Washington State DI Communication Director by optimizing the WADI communication strategy using data analysis, interviews, and competitive analysis. I developed a brand style guide and communication channel assets that are compliant with the overall DI organization style guide, which guided in re-designing their website and making social media advertisements.

“Washington Destination Imagination (WADI) facilitates the Destination Imagination (DI) program in WA state. Students work together to solve open-ended STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) Team Challenges designed to teach the creative process. The creative process is a step-by-step approach that helps students better understand problems, come up with solutions, and learn from failure. Teams celebrate their solutions live at regional and state tournaments.”

“DECONSTRUCTING DI” VIDEO THUMBNAILS

I designed a visual system for creating thumbnails for “Deconstructing DI”; WADI’s new YouTube series that breaks down DI challenges and provides tips for both Team Managers and Team Members on the creative process and being a part of a DI team.

WADI REGION ILLUSTRATIONS

Based on the existing Destination Imagination Brand Guidelines, I created these illustrations based on the two main regions in Washington State. These aim to build a sense of community and personal identity for teams in the Western and Eastern Region. These are featured on the website, and can be used in social media content for users to post.
